Aishwarya Rai To Lead “The Pink Panther-2”

Bollywood Aishwarya Rai was placed to hold the first role with the actor Steve Martin in The Pink Panther sequel.

The actors Andy Garcia, John Cleese and Alfred Molina also joined to be used it as team-member of Colombia Pictures/MGM’s The Pink Panther 2.

The Indian actress will hold the first role as a detective and expert with the gangster Molina and Garcia, who join the forces with gaffer the French police force revealing Jacques Clouseau, to play by Martin, to catch the thief who has been stealing a work of art all over the world.

Cleese will play inspector in chief Clouseau’s Inspector Charles Dreyfus in the peak, report of store variety.

Agent Cody Banks, Harald Zwart will direct the film, which was parked by Scott Neustadter, Mike Weber, Lowell Ganz, Babaloo Mandel and Steve Martin.

Robert Simonds will produce the film and Ira Shuman will be the executive producer.

The continuation, which was announced in March 2006, is programmed for a release on February 13 2009.
